An old scam has been repackaged for the Trump era.
The French sporting retailer, Decathlon, is warning that social media messages currently circulating in Switzerland are not true.
They say there’s an offer of backpacks for only 2 francs.
The message has been sent before – but this time it claims it’s due to oversupply as they can’t sell them in the United States due to the tariffs.
But it’s a phishing exercise – designed to collect personal data. Be aware.
