Train workers unions are demanding more safety measures for those who work on the tracks as three people have died this year and three others have been seriously injured.
The unions say the main issue is outside contractors are not being sufficiently trained or assisted.
Swiss Federal railways rejects the accusation that there’s insufficient training – but says it is willing to meet the unions.
The train company says the main reason for the rise in accidents is simply down to more people working on the tracks at the moment as there’s a lot of building work going on.
