Professor sacked for copying students

A university professor has been sacked for copying his students work and claiming it as his own.

The University of Sankt Gallen says a full investigation has shown the director of the Institute of Supply Chain Management, Wolfgang Stölzle, repeatedly used work by his students in his own publications without quoting his sources.

He was initially suspended in June last year while the investigations were carried out. But the university has confirmed he has now left due to ‘significant violation of the rules.'
