Pink Floyd fans warn after Zurich concert

Poster advertising the 'terrible' concert

Pink Floyd fans in Zurich are warning about a tour which promised them to relive the ‘timeless’ sound of the legendary rock band.

But many left the concert, held just before New Year, early.

Comments include ‘terrible’, ‘full of mistakes’ and one on the Ticketcorner website likened the concert to a ‘bad school band’

An audience member, Michel Stettler, told the Blick newspaper he was convinced the whole thing was a prank and was looking for hidden cameras.

The cover band has nothing to do with the real Pink Floyd, despite posters claiming it has members of the original lineup. There is one person who was a backing singer once and the son of Roger Waters – one of the original members – Harry.

His only contribution to Pink Floyd was this:  CLIP

The group is also planning to play dates in Basel and Lucerne before embarking on a full European tour.

It should not be confused with other Floyd cover bands – such as The Australian Pink Floyd Show – which is highly respected.
