A parcel bomb exploded in a letter box in Grange-Canal yesterday afternoon. Geneva police sealed off a large section of the area.
A child was injured and taken to hospital.
It’s thought there may be a link to the explosion in Saint-Jean over the summer, which injured a man.
That man, and the person who lives at the address of this explosion, both work for the same watch-maker.
That company has been subject to various threats in the past.
The investigation has been passed to federal prosecutors, as all cases involving explosives.
Police are not releasing any further information at the moment.
