New closure dates for the Mont-Blanc Tunnel have been announced.
The previous schedule of closures had to rearranged after the closure of the Gotthard Base Tunnel due to a derailment.
The tunnel will be closed for 9 weeks from Monday October 16th. It will reopen on Monday December 18th.
Engineers say work is needed on the ventilation system.
Cars are advised to either use the passes or Grand Saint Bernard Tunnel, while trucks will be sent to the Fréjus tunnel.
