Keen eyed Geneva motorists may have noted a series of large electronic signs being put up on the side of the road.
They’re not switched on yet - but when they are, they will form part of a traffic system which is said to be unique.
The signs will show traffic flows – highlighting problem areas – and they will be able to send advice to drivers.
In all there’ll be 35 dotted around.
Extra cameras are also being put out to monitor traffic flow. The canton assures us the cameras are not for the surveillance of people – the quality isn’t good enough.
