Geneva will be the most connected Swiss city to China.
The head of Geneva Airport, Gilles Rufenacht, says there’s a new service soon to be running from Geneva to Shanghai.
That will make Geneva the only airport in the country with two destinations in China – Beijing and Shanghai.
He says traffic between the cities is increasing – there’s been a strong growth in visitors from China over the past year - but also economic links are increasing which is boosting demand in freight.
The new Shanghai flight starts in June.
