A Lausanne based design company has won the competition to design the new set of Swiss banknotes.
People were asked to choose their favourites from 6 finalists - the winning series is called ‘Switzerland in Relief’ and focusses on native plants on one side and highlights Swiss achievements on the other.
But the Swiss National Bank says the final design could differ significantly from the first draft.
The final design will be up to the bank. The new notes won’t enter into circulation before 2030.
