Mystery of missing man in Valais

Thomas Riotte

Hundreds of people in the Valais ski resort of Haute-Nendaz are helping in the search for a missing man.

Thomas Riotte is a 31-year-old Frenchman, who’s been a seasonal worker in the resort for the last 10 years – he works as a chef.

He’s described as serious, helpful and well-integrated.

He went missing while simply walking from a bar to a restaurant on the 5th February at around 9.30pm.

Police issued a missing person’s report after only 3 days. That's unusually quickly for an adult.

Locals and tourists alike have helped in the search.

If anyone has any information, please contact Valais police.
