More people skip jab date

More and more people are missing their appointment for the second dose of the vaccine.

A survey by SonntagsBlick newspaper shows in Solothurn alone, 6% of those who had booked a second jab didn’t show up.

It’s not just Solothurn, other cantons also say they have plenty of missed appointments.

Some are suspicious that with the better weather, many may have taken the opportunity to go away, while others believe that some are choosing to do without following the stories of worse side-effects from the second dose.

But there’s also a chance some have had their second dose at another centre or from their family doctor.

Those running the vaccination centres say it’s complicated to make re-arrangements.
