The St George's International School in Montreux has bought a historic Belle Époque villa for CHF 40 million, planning to convert it into a prestigious boarding house.
The 1913 Villa L'Empereur will house 51 boarders, after renovation.
Annual fees at the English-language school already reach up to CHF 130,000.- per pupil.
Renovation plans are still to be finalised.
