A man has died after falling from a hot air balloon in Bern.
The police say they believe the man jumped from the balloon above the A1 autoroute at around 7am yesterday.
There were six passengers and the pilot onboard at the time.
The pilot was able to land at the nearby village of Hinterkappelen.
The autoroute was closed for several hours after the incident. The man was declared dead at the scene.
