Man complains of brewery smell - no one cares

A man is complaining about the smell of a brewery in canton Aargau – despite the fact the brewery has been making beer on the same spot since 1876.

The Feldschlösschen brewery in Rheinfelden is a local landmark and an important employer – which probably explains why the man isn’t having much luck with collecting signatures, he only has 45.

The man says there are annoying smells which reminds him of a sewer. But he says he knows why. He claims there’s a problem with the bioreactors and they’re leaking.

But the brewery says no – everything is working normally. Managers say they did check after the man’s first complaint.

However, the brewery says it’s not uncommon for some smells to be produced, but they are completely harmless.
