Major fight at Geneva club

Storm Live Club

A major fight broke out at a Geneva nightclub over the weekend. Witnesses say at least thirty people were involved and many were injured.

One customer says there was a rain of bottles and blood-covered broken glass was all over the floor.

Some had to be treated for cuts, with one woman needing 9 stitches in her foot.

Police were called to the Storm Live Club in Malagnou. But some say the management waited too long before asking for help and added the club’s security staff was overwhelmed.

Police say eight people were arrested.

It’s not sure why the fight started, but one of the owners says he believes it was ‘over a girl’.
