A major accident caused havoc on the Quai de Cologny yesterday afternoon and seriously injured two people.
Four cars smashed into each other in what police describe as a chain collision. A 24-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man had to be airlifted to hospital.
The road was closed for several hours from 1pm yesterday. Diversions were set up using the Cologny ramp – causing major tailbacks on the smaller roads.
