Low breakthrough of virus in vaccinated patients

The Federal Health Office has released numbers showing that since the beginning of the year, 122 people have been treated for Covid infections despite being full vaccinated. And half of those were over 80 years old.

The office says that’s a very low number and shows the vaccine is working.

In all, nearly 800 fully vaccinated have been infected – but the symptoms were mild.

Experts say the vaccines are effective against the Delta variant and offer a high protection against a significant adverse reaction to an infection.
