Many residents in the city of Geneva are frustrated by office buildings that keep their lights on all night – despite cantonal rules which say office lights must be switched off between 1am and 6am.
Locals complain that the canton and federal governments are urging us to save money, but yet many office buildings remain lit.
A spokeswoman for the canton told the 20 minutes newspaper that they receive a complaint around every couple of months – but they haven’t issued any fines yet.
