Loads of canisters of nitrous oxide- or laughing gas – have been found in the lake near Cologny.
The gas is used as a party drug as it’s known for its euphoric effect – but it comes with dangers as it can be addictive and lead to long term damage.
In all 77 canisters have been retrieved by the Association for the Preservation of Lake Geneva – each one is 30 cm long.
They were in the lake near the Cologny ramp, an area known for its parties.
The association says the canisters are damaging from an environmental point of view, but the number shows there’s a greater use of the drug.
