The Jet d’Eau will soon take a break.
From the end of the month, the landmark will be shut down for five weeks as the city’s Industrial Services carry out annual maintenance on its pumps, valves, and lighting system.
At the same time, the Eaux-Vives lighthouse at the end of the pier will undergo heritage restoration work.
The fountain is set to resume partial operation on November 22nd, with a delayed start at noon on weekdays.
Full operation should return by December 3rd.
