Iranian and American diplomats convene today at the Bürgenstock resort above Lake Lucerne to open a new round of talks over Tehran's nuclear programme.
The discussions follow a memorandum of understanding signed on Wednesday, outlining the broad principles of a final peace agreement to be negotiated over the next sixty days.
Key provisions include reopening the Strait of Hormuz and halting military operations on all fronts including Lebanon.
Mediators from Pakistan and Qatar will be joining the talks.
Switzerland is acting as facilitator, in a tradition stretching back to the original Iran nuclear talks in 2003.
