Indonesian Governor's son missing after river swim

The son of a local Indonesia governor has gone missing while swimming the Aare River.

It’s thought Emmeril Mumtadz was dragged by the current while he was trying to get out at the end of last week. He was with his sister and friend.

The family are in Switzerland looking for a school for Emmeril.

While swimming in the river is common over the summer – it's not normal at this time of year. The water is cold and the flow rate strong as melt water enters.

It can take up to a week before bodies are recovered.
