Thousands marched in Zurich on Saturday demanding more access to affordable housing.
March organizers criticised institutional property owners for rising rents and politicians for not doing enough - claiming they have too many links with land owners.
Police say there was some damage along the route. A Google office suffered a broken window and was smeared with paint and graffiti was left on several other buildings.
The march closed several roads in the middle of the city and closed some tram lines for a while.
