Helicopters need to rescue tourists

More than 160 tourists had to be brought down from the top of the Schilthorn in the Bernese Oberland by helicopter after the cable car broke down on Saturday afternoon.

Fortunately, no one was stuck in the gondolas.

The visitors were taken from the top of the mountain, made famous by the James Bond film, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, down to Mürren.

They could take another cable car from there.

It took about three hours for everyone to be rescued.
