Gym thieves sentenced

A group of three thieves that targeted high end gyms have been sentenced by a Geneva court.

In a massive spree that lasted only a week, the gang targeted gym lockers in Zurich and Geneva and amassed 10 of thousands of francs worth of goods.

They were arrested in the spring.

A court in Geneva has sentenced a 40-year-old man to 8 months in prison and two women aged 25 and 39 to 10 months, suspended for three years.

As they all come from Eastern Europe, they will be deported at the end of their sentences.
