The Palladium in Geneva has been banned from hosting concerts more than once a month due to the problem of noise.
The long-standing venue is owned by the city near Jonction and has hosted hundreds of concerts over the years – without any problems.
But that was when the area had only a few residents, new developments mean there are now many more people living nearby – and they’ve been complaining.
The city’s planning department says the building is in need of major renovation – but there’s no timeframe on when that may be done.
