Teachers in Geneva will be striking on May 13th in response to a change in their working hours.
The canton wants to change the rules regarding how much work is done by teachers outside the classroom. It says that will allow a better definition of what constitutes working time.
But teachers say it will lead to more unpaid working time.
The Education Minister, Anne Hiltpold, says there will be no increase in working hours.
