Geneva is extending its emergency cold weather plan until Monday.
Temperatures are set to remain freezing overnight for the next few nights.
The plan opens overnight shelters for the homeless – providing 583 places for those who can’t escape the weather.
The shelters are open from 7pm to 8am.
The plan also doubles the number of patrols on the streets to make sure everyone has somewhere warm to stay.
