The number of cross-border workers is climbing sharply in Geneva. At the end of last year there were nearly 96,500 – up more than 6,000 from the year before.
The Cantonal Office of Statistics says it won’t be long before the 100,000 figure is reached.

While many areas of the country have border workers – Geneva leads. 27% of all cross border workers in Switzerland work in Geneva.
