Geneva border villages protest

Residents of two Haute-Savoie villages have said the stench from a nearby agricultural methaniser has become unbearable

The plant is between Frangy and Chaumont in the Vallee des Usses. It was built 7 years ago and was initially welcomed by the locals. But they say  work on the site around a year ago changed everything and the smell in the evenings is now so bad they can't even open their windows

Neighbours from nearby Collonges have begun to take action to force the operator to act
