Geneva auctions off high-end cars

Canton Geneva is auctioning of several luxury cars today. There could be potential bargains as there’s no reserve price.

The highlight is a 2006 Ferrari F599 – new it would cost you close to half a million francs. The car has never been registered and has been garaged for the last 12 years.

Other prized cars up for auction is a Maserati Ghibli and a Bentley Continental.

There’s a range for all price points. High end Volvos and Audis are also being auction by the canton – as well as a Harley Davidson motorcycle - right down to a 1999 VW Golf, which is described as being in a ‘poor condition’.

The cars have been seized by the cantonal bankruptcy office. The cash raised will go to creditors.
