Geneva and Vaud have the cheapest public pools, according to a new comparison of 268 sites released as another heatwave bakes the country.
Adult entry at the Bains des Pâquis costs just CHF 2.-, with children paying only CHF 1.-.
Across the two cantons, average entry runs at CHF 5.- in Geneva and CHF 6.30 in Vaud — well below the national average of CHF 6.90.
Ticino is the priciest, with the Lido di Locarno charging CHF 13.- and canton-wide entry averaging CHF 9.20.
A further 27 sites nationwide charge nothing at all, including four pools in the city of Berne.
