When bars and restaurants are allowed to reopen, the City of Geneva will allow larger outdoor areas which will be able to stay open all year.
The hope is the new flexible laws will help the industry to recover.
The city says those that have terraces could expand them by as much as 50% - if there’s the space. Some will be allowed to expand into roadside parking areas.
