Geneva airport staff will strike tomorrow (Fri) to protest a new pay structure. The strike will start at 4am.
Unions have been warning strike action would be taken if management forced through a new pay scales. They claim the new system will mean a cut in bonuses and monthly salary.
The airport says predicted revenue growth means the current pay levels are unsustainable.
Unions say around 1,000 workers will strike. The action will hit security and passport controls.
It could mean flight cancellations and incoming aircraft may have to divert to alternative airports.
