A gunfight between two rival motorcycle gangs broke out in the middle of Geneva on Saturday night.
Police say four shots were fired outside a bar on the rue de l’Ecole-de-Médecine near Plainpalais.
Witness statements suggest it was an altercation between the gangs Hells Angels and Bandidos. The two gangs are known to have long standing differences.
One local says when the shots were fired, there were sounds of panic and overturned chairs as evening drinkers fled.
No one was injured and investigations are continuing.
