French customs officers have seized a large quantity of drugs right on the Geneva border at Saint-Julien-en-Genevois.
It’s almost certain the drugs were destined for Switzerland, say correspondents.
The customs office say they grabbed 13 kilos of heroin and 6 kilos of cocaine.
It was part of a large drugs operation.
Three men are now in custody, a 22 year old will be in court in Thonon later this week.
Two others, a 36 year old and 50 year old, have already been sentenced to 15 months and two years in prison..
A spokesman for the customs office in Annecy says the haul is a major blow to the drugs trafficking business.
