Four arrested following arms find in France

Four people have been arrested in neighbouring France after police discovered a privately held stash of weapons.

They seized automatic rifles, ammunition, bullet proof vests and military style radio jammers.

Police also found drugs on the premises in Chens-sur-Léman in Haute-Savoie.

The raid was last month and involved around 50 specialist officers. The results have just been released.

It’s not the first-time police have found weapons in the area. In October last year another home in the town was raided with a similar discovery.
