Firms optimistic for 2024

Many Swiss companies are optimistic about the future – with the Lake Geneva region one of the most positive.

The latest survey by the recruitment firm Manpower shows that nearly half of firms in the country are expecting to increase their staffing level over the next few months. Only 18% say they may have to lose people. 

Healthcare, finance and real estate are the strongest sectors.

Companies in the Lake Geneva region are the most likely to increase their workforce – those in Ticino the least likely.
