The trial of a firefighter accused of setting 12 fires in canton Solothurn starts today.
The 34-year-old fireman was normally one of the first on the scene – making it possible he was putting out the fires he started.
Prosecutors allege he was involved in setting fire to barns and tool sheds on farms and a society’s clubhouse in the spring of 2020.
The man denies all the charges. The trial is expected to last all week.
