The government has confirmed the emergency visas for Turkish nationals who have been affected the massive earthquake in February will end on May 12th.
The visas allowed for fast-track access for Turks to stay with family already resident in Switzerland.
Around 300 have made use of the visas so far, another 240 are being processed – but the government says demand has fallen.
Any application made up until the 12th will still be treated quickly.
