An electric scooter clocked at 127 km/h has been seized in the canton of Fribourg.
Police say the rider tried to flee a traffic check.
A technical inspection revealed a heavily modified scooter.
It was fitted with two powerful motors - each capable of producing 2000 watts in power.
Speed for such vehicles is capped at just 20 km/h.
The scooter has been impounded, and the 58-year-old rider will face legal action, according to the Fribourg Cantonal Police.
