As more people are using electric powered transport options, such as e-bikes and scooters, serious injuries are increasing.
These figures are from Geneva police.
The number of people seriously injured in Geneva is up at nearly 400 last year, compared to 380 last year. However, the overall number of accidents is down by just under 5%.
In most cases, the rider is to blame for the accident - and normally speed is a factor. Alcohol is also involved in many cases.
