Several police forces across the country are warning drivers to make sure all windscreens and windows are clear of snow and ice.
Vaud police are launching an awareness campaign – and thousands of posters will be going up across the canton stressing the importance of making sure the vehicle is in a safe condition to drive.
The police say it’s not just windows, but also lights and the licence plate should be clear.
