It may seem obvious, but the Accident Prevention Office is urging everyone to take care in the wet and slippery conditions.
Every year 285,000 people are injured by simply falling over, and 1,700 die. Most of those cases are in winter.
But it not just outside. The office says to take care when going into a building with wet shoes.
It also says to make sure you have the right footwear with sufficient grip.
