The number of Covid cases and infections continue to fall.
The latest update from the Federal Health Office shows the incidence rate – the number of infections per 100,000 people, has dropped below 1,000 at 939. Only 10% of intensive care beds are for Covid cases.
The number of cases fell by more than 29% in a week and hospitalizations by nearly 38%.
The number of deaths is now averaging 5 a day. It hasn’t been that low for 6 months.
Since the beginning of the month, the Health Office is only publishing the figures weekly.
