In a move to cut unnecessary noise, the government is bringing in new rules on car exhausts and revving of engines will be illegal.
For the last several months, the press in the country has waged a war on those who customise their sports cars and show them off – normally making excessive noise.
But the government will not form a law which will allow the introduction of ‘noise cameras’ – despite a pilot project in Geneva, which is being deemed a success.
