Geneva’s Christmas lights are on! They’ll be illuminating the city until January 4th.
This year, the Old Town gets a major boost, with about ten new streets decorated, including Grand-Rue, rue de la Cité and place du Grand-Mézel, bringing the total to around forty LED installations. The budget comes to roughly CHF 650,000.
Christmas markets are also returning across the city, starting with “Noël au Quai” on the Quai du Mont-Blanc, open now, running until Christmas Eve.
