Large parts of the centre of Geneva will be closed tomorrow for the Lake Parade.

The Quais will be closed to traffic – the Quai Wilson from 11 and the Quai Gustav Ador will close an hour later.

From 2.30 tomorrow afternoon many central roads will be closed, including the Mont-Blanc Bridge.

Police are warning drivers who may have their cars in the Mont-Blanc car park, they will be trapped in there from 2pm until 8pm.

Many parking spaces will be closed and cars will be towed away.

The Parade will also lead to public transport disruptions.

All road closures will be lifted by 10 am on Sunday.
