It’s Carnival season – the first one in Lucerne is now underway and plenty more will follow over the next few weeks.

The health insurance company SUVA is warning very loud Guggenmusik could damage your hearing – especially if you’re listening indoors.

It’s recommending anyone close to the musicians – or even the musicians themselves – should use earplugs.

It points out that a trombone can be as loud as a jackhammer at 110 decibels.
