The low tax haven of canton Zug has the most expensive and newest cars in the country.
That’s according to a study by the insurer Axa.
The average vehicle value is CHF 63,000 - compared to the rest of the country of CHF 47,000. And cars are around 8 years old – in the rest of the country the average age of a car is 9.
The canton also has more company owned cars than any other canton.
The cantons with the cheapest cars on the roads are Neuchatel and Jura, with a value of CHF 42,000.
